Events and Timeline
The events of one's life are chapters of their story, and laying them plainly makes possible all forms of personal reflection and investigations.
It might prove useful, therefore, to offer a timeline-style collection of Calderone's significant events. This list includes both public and private long-term projects for which Calderone acted as a primary or cooperative organizer or contributor.

WHY WE SING

MS and HS CHOIRS
All students join together to perform a variety of music to demonstrate their unique learning throughout the year. To finish the concert, the MS and HS singers performed "Takadamu", Swahili for "Lead the way".

A flipped concert, centered about four simple rounds provided an audience of students' families and friends the experience of Calderone's classroom. The audience even learned to sing and perform together!

The Show Choir demonstrated their high capabilities at this pivotal 2-hour collaborative concert, with group highlights, German and Ukrainian a cappella, combined ensemble pieces, and some festive solo repertoire.

Two middle school choirs performed a festive-themed evening concert, featuring music to excite and inspire the students and audience to keep singing! Each group demonstrated their progress alongside fun music.

CONCERT CHOIR | SHOW CHOIR
This 35-minute concert program marked the first of Calderone as a music educator. The feature brought the audience through its central themes and was the climax of a 12-week study with his 55-voice concert choir.

The first of Calderone's concerts at Bremen Public Schools, the middle school students set the standard for preparation with combined repertoire, as well as two group highlights and two solo performances.

GRADUATED - VU
MAY. 19, 2022 - Valparaiso University, Valparaiso IN
Calderone graduated summa cum laude from Valparaiso University with a Bachelors of Music Education. He performed the Star Spangled Banner and VU's Alma Mater at the graduation ceremony.

Calderone was unanimously approved to the position of Choir Director for both the middle school and high school, to begin in the fall of 2022.
